ABOUT PRODUCT

Ferrochrome (FeCr) is a ferroalloy obtained by smelting chrome ore and quartzite ore with coke in an arc furnace

Silicomanganese (SiMn) is a ferric alloy, which is produced through  manganese ore and quartz rock  alloying provided coke is present in the arc furnace SiMn is used  when producing steel of liquid metal for alloying.

Ferric manganese (FeMn) is ferric alloy, which is produced through  manganese ore smelting  provided coke is present. FeMn may be produced either in a blast furnace or in an arc furnace. Ferric manganese  usually is produced with carbon high (78% Mn, 7.5% C), average (80% Mn, 1.5% C) and low (80% Mn, 0.5% C) contents. Ferric manganese is used as steel reinforcement agent  or combined with ferrosilicium for oxygen removal.

FERROSILICON (FeSi) is a ferric alloy, which is produced together with coke through quartz rock smelting provided scrap or iron rust is also placed in an arc furnace.  According to silicium contents in this alloy produced common types of ferrosilicium may contain 50%, 65% და 75% silicium. FeSi may contain  calcium and aluminum 1%-2%  with the balance, which iron makes up. Ferrosilicium is used, firs of all, as oxygen removal. It is easily connected to   oxygen in melt iron and is applied as a degasifier sometimes, due to its proximity to unfavorable gases.  FeSi is also commonly used in a cast iron as a silicium source. Ferrosilicium may be additionally alloyed with metals with usual combination for special appliance in the steel and iron industry.
